Mission Goals

This is the second visit to Brazil, and the second time the team collaborated with FundaMed, a local Brazilian charity.
‍Due to our previous work in Brazil, there were larger number of patients, which led to both the team working long hours, and to many patients left untreated.
‍The team donated large amount of supplies to the local hospital, and spent most of their time training the local doctors and nurses, which should enable them to perform more complex operations than they are used to.
