Team Manhattan’s expertise is largely focused on head and neck surgery and facial reconstructive procedures, a service that is lacking in most poor countries.

The team has traveled to Uganda, Bolivia, and Tanzania since forming. Their operations have included life-changing procedures such as cleft lip/palate repair, excision of large thyroid goiters, head and neck tumor removal, management of congenital malformations and disfiguring facial scar revisions.
