Team Chicago finished their first-ever mission in Kenya, completing an amazing 94 surgeries in just four days. This is the team’s fifth mission with Operation International and their first in Kenya.
Team Chicago was launched in 2019 by Dr. Edie Chan. We went on their inaugural trip to Uganda in 2021 where we completed 87 general surgical and plastic surgery operations. The team has continued to go on annual mission trips, including to Ghana and Tanzania.
