Ghana 2022

In this Ghana Women and Children mission, we worked at the Holy Family Hospital. We screened and treated over 950 women in the Cervical Cancer Prevention Program; we also trained 12 nurses and midwives on the new protocol and donated 4 thermocoagulators used to treat precancerous lesions.

In addition, during this same mission, we performed 62 pediatric surgeries: 15 were cleft lips and the remaining were complex burn scar contracture reconstruction of the hand, lower and upper extremities, and face.

We also donated $82,000 of new medical equipment for the operating rooms, maternity, and pediatric wards.
