Team Neuro will head on their second mission of 2026 to Ghana in October. The trip is the team's fourth mission to Ghana since forming in 2023 with the pursuit of building the first neurosurgery center in the region at Holy Family Hospital in Techiman.
In April 2026, the team successfully completed more than 20 complex neurosurgical cases. Operation International NeuroTeam was formed in the early part of 2023 by Dr. Sarah Jernigan.
