This was the maiden mission for Team NY.‍
It was an eye-opening mission where the team experienced firsthand the reality of the world we live in, and how in the Western world still exists a nation as poor as Haiti
Working under the most difficult circumstances, the team completed 48 major operations during their 5-day stay.

Mission details

Haiti was Operation International's very first mission. We went here in 1997 and our eyes were instantly opened.

We realized then how important it was that we continued our mission to help struggling communities around the world get the medical help that they need.
