Team Manhattan traveled to Pakse, Laos for the first time in March, completing 89 head and neck/craniofacial surgical cases in just five days. An equally important goal, the team also provided the education and training to local medical staff through hands-on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and material donations to promote sustainable improvements in local healthcare delivery.
Team Manhattan was established in 2022 by Drs. Mona Gangar and Dilip Madnani. Both Mona and Dilip have traveled with different teams of Operation International in the past before deciding to establish their own team.
