Team Manhattan will travel to Pakse, Laos for the first time in March. The team seeks to deliver excellent, patient-centered head and neck/craniofacial surgical care to underserved populations with limited resources. An equally important goal is the education and training of local medical staff through hands-on collaboration, knowledge exchange, and material donations to promote sustainable improvements in local healthcare delivery.
Team Manhattan is excited and greatly looks forward to their fourth mission with Operation International, continuing to build on the strong teamwork and friendships established through prior missions. Team Manhattan was established in 2022 by Drs. Mona Gangar and Dilip Madnani. Both Mona and Dilip have traveled with different teams of Operation International in the past before deciding to establish their own team.
