Mission Goals

The mission was coordinated by an American charity that was disorganized, so upon arrival the team discovered that permits were not in place, which led to wasting of one day while seeking the permits.
Despite the early hurdles the team proved to be able to raise up to the occasion and treated tens of patients in dire need for help.

Mission details

This was one of our closest missions, yet it seemed a world away from what back home. It was incredible to see and embrace the cultural differences, while also teaching local health care workers new techniques and how to use the more advanced equipment that we brought to them.
