Hi! I'm Alex, a nurse from the US with experience working at Cornell/Columbia Presbyterian, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, The United Nations Headquarters and currently, Stanford Healthcare. I received my BSN from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and MPA from New York University. I am deeply passionate about global health and committed to leveraging available resources to enhance health outcomes and access to care. I am particularly interested in empowering nurses through training and education as I believe nurse development is crucial for enhancing healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes. I have experience working in various healthcare settings internationally including Malawi, Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and am thrilled to join team Operational International Canada in Ghana this fall.
