Alexandra Pritchard

Hi! My name is Alexandra and I am a critical care registered nurse with experience in neuromedicine and surgical intensive care units. I received my bachelor's degrees from the University of Rochester and went on to get my BSN from New York University. In addition to my work in nursing, I am actively involved in coaching youth field hockey, where I enjoy mentoring and supporting young athletes as they develop their skills, confidence, and teamwork both on and off the field. I am honored to be joining this mission trip to Laos, where I will be supporting cleft palate repair surgeries. Caring for patients during their most vulnerable moments has shaped my passion for nursing and deepened my desire to serve others. Beyond bedside nursing, I have wanted to participate in medical mission work in communities with limited access to care. This opportunity allows me to use my skills to help provide life-changing treatment while also sharing kindness, encouragement, and connection with the local community. I am incredibly excited for the chance to change the lives of children and families through this mission, and I feel grateful to use my skills to bring healing, hope, and lasting impact to those in need.
