Dr. Andrew Vaughn is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) practicing at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. He completed his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Texas A&M College of Medicine–Scott and White Medical Center, and a fellowship in Neuro-Rhinology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Since joining the medical staff in 2021, Dr. Vaughn has focused on providing comprehensive ENT care to patients in the region. Originally from Manchester, Kentucky, Dr. Vaughn is deeply passionate about serving underserved rural populations, which drew him back to his home state to practice medicine in the Appalachian region. He is happily married to his wife, Lauren, a dentist, and they are proud parents to a 5-year-old daughter and son. Balancing a busy professional life with family, Dr. Vaughn remains dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the communities of southeastern Kentucky, where access to specialized ENT services can make a significant difference in patients’ lives.
