Brandy Libby

Brandy Libby is a board certified women’s health nurse practitioner with 27 years of nursing experience in labor and delivery and women’s health. She currently works full-time providing gynecological care for the women in Central Texas. Brandy has always had a heart for serving the people of Africa. She has traveled to Zambia twice to serve and support the orphans of Lusaka, Zambia. She has sponsored two of the children she meet on her first mission and has plans to return to celebrate with them as they graduate from high school. Brandy’s hobbies include playing pickle ball, reading, playing mahjong , and traveling. She has been married to her husband Jeff for 37 years. They have one adult son. Brandy is excited to join the heart of Texas Team as they return to Uganda. This will be Brandy‘s first medical/ surgical type mission trip. She plans to support the team in any role or capacity needed and is eager to learn new skills and take on whatever tasks rise.
