I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and have dedicated my career to caring for others through compassion, skill, and service. My journey in healthcare began as a volunteer EMT, where I discovered my passion for helping people in moments of crisis. I went on to work as a Medical Assistant, and during nursing school, I served as an Emergency Room Technician and a Medical Interpreter, bridging language and cultural gaps to ensure patients received the care they needed. I also volunteered at a clinic serving immigrants and underserved communities, an experience that deeply shaped my commitment to providing equitable healthcare for all. I began my nursing career in the Emergency Department and now work in a hybrid role between Critical Care and the Emergency Room, caring for patients with complex conditions including neurological, cardiopulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal, sepsis, pediatrics and trauma cases. In addition, I am part of the neuro, renal replacement and open heart recovery teams within critical care. These experiences have strengthened my desire to use my skills beyond the hospital walls to serve those with limited access to care. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with my family, who inspire and support my passion for nursing and service.
