David Hume

Dr. David J. Hume is a board-certified osteopathic physician specializing in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), with more than two decades of clinical experience. Known for his patient-centered and holistic approach to care, he combines traditional family medicine with osteopathic principles focused on whole-body health and functional healing. In addition to his civilian medical career, Dr. Hume served in the United States Air Force Reserve from 2000 to 2019, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his military service, he led medical operations in Iraq and Qatar, served as Officer-in-Charge of the busiest family medicine clinic at Balad Air Base and flight line medical operations at Al Udeid Air Base, and managed multidisciplinary teams in high-risk deployed environments. His distinguished service earned him two Meritorious Service Medals, two Air Force Commendation Medals, and multiple Achievement Medals.
