
Dr. Gomez earned her B.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences with honors in Biology and Applied Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University in 2015, followed by her D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry in 2019 and her M.D. from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2025. She completed a General Surgery Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, in 2020 and is expected to complete her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Henry Ford Warren Hospital in June 2027. With a strong academic and clinical foundation spanning both medicine and dentistry, Dr. Gomez brings a uniquely integrated skill set to surgical care. She is currently engaged in advanced post-graduate training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality care for underserved populations. As a volunteer with Team Cleft Repair, Dr. Gomez contributes her interdisciplinary expertise to support cleft lip and palate reconstruction efforts for children and families in resource-limited settings. Her combined medical and dental background, along with her commitment to global health, strengthens the team’s ability to deliver coordinated, comprehensive surgical care.
