Karen Elliot

Karen Elliott is a licensed practical nurse and healthcare professional with more than three decades of experience in the medical field. Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, she now calls Somerset, Kentucky, home. Karen began her healthcare career in 1993, serving in a variety of roles before earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in forensic psychiatric nursing, long-term care, post-acute rehabilitation, hospice, and ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care. Her diverse background reflects a deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients across a wide range of healthcare settings. Committed to lifelong learning, Karen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, strengthening her understanding of both patient care and healthcare leadership. Outside of her professional life, Karen is the proud mother of three grown children and grandmother to two grandsons, who are among her greatest joys. She is passionate about gardening and looks forward to expanding her horticultural knowledge by enrolling in a Master Gardener program in the fall.
