Kezia Varughese is a perioperative registered nurse from Long Island, NY. She has experience in cardiothoracic, general, robotic, vascular, and breast surgical oncology surgery. Kezia was ecstatic when she heard about the opportunity to join The Women’s Health Team to provide surgical care to patients in underserved populations who do not have access to resources or effective healthcare. Kezia is a surgical nurse on the breast surgical oncology team. As a current Family Nurse Practitioner student, Kezia is very passionate about providing quality of care to her patients. Kezia is excited to work alongside The Women’s Health Team to create an everlasting impact on healthcare whether it is by performing surgeries in an unfamiliar environment with limited resources, or by spending a few extra moments in the recovery room so that her patients have a familiar face to wake up to. Kezia is looking forward to seeing what Operation International has in store for her team and patient population in Ghana.
