As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at a Level One Trauma Center in Detroit, I'm honored to contribute my expertise to a surgical mission in Ghana. In my daily practice, I help patients through critical moments with precision and care - and this trip offers a chance to do the same in a global context. I'll be providing anesthesia support during life-changing procedures that restore mobility, relieve suffering, and open new possibilities for those who may have gone without access to surgical care. It's a privilege to serve alongside a dedicated team where every case is a profound reminder of how skill, compassion, and collaboration can transform lives.
