
Marianne holds a Bachelor of Nursing Integrated from McGill University and a Master of Science in Global Mental Health from the University of Glasgow. A psychiatric nurse for over 10 years, she has developed extensive clinical and leadership experience across the continuum of mental health care. She has a marked interest in global mental health and is passionate about fostering access to evidence-based, and culturally sensitive mental health services in low and middle income countries. Recognized for her empathy, versatility, and problem-solving skills, Marianne strives to build collaborative relationships with patients, families, colleagues, and community partners. She currently practices as a healthcare manager, overseeing four specialized and alternative programs to hospitalization in mental health, where she is committed to enhancing service quality, and supporting innovative, person-centred approaches to mental health. Marianne is delighted to join Operational International Canada and looks forward to contributing to the development of sustainable mental health projects in low-resource settings, with the goal of improving access to quality mental health care for underserved populations around the world.
