Philomena is a UK (London) based scrub nurse. She trained in Ghana as a general nurse at Holy Family Hospital, Berekum, and Peri-Operative nurse at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra. She moved to the UK where she undertook Advanced Scrub Practitioner course at the University of Greenwich. She has been practising as a scrub/circulation nurse for over twenty years. She has experience in general, Obs & gynae, urology and breast surgeries. Her passion is to care for the needy which drove her to this humanitarian mission.
