Sala Abdalla is a UK-based Consultant Surgeon specialising in general, upper gastro-intestinal and emergency general surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She is the director of Operation International UK and is a member of the board of directors of Operation International Ltd. She is passionate about humanitarian work and has previously worked as volunteer surgeon with Operation Hernia in 2017. She has been directing OIUK missions since 2019 and has delivered training for local doctors and nurses at destination hospitals.
