Sanju has been interested in global surgery for many years. The chance to help in a country with no access to cardiac surgical care has been an amazing opportunity for her. She has been a cardiac surgeon for 21 years and knows that successful heart surgery is always a team sport. She is looking forward to many more trips for Operation International.
