Sarah is a Registered and Certified Pediatric Nurse with 14 years of experience. She has spent the majority of her career in post anesthesia and surgical recovery, where she first had the opportunity to join surgical mission trips to Central and South America. She has a master's degree in nursing education and has served as a clinical instructor for Loyola University, DePaul University, and North Park University nursing schools in Chicago. In 2025, she was a part of OI Team Chicago's trip to Kenya and is looking forward to working again with colleagues in Kakamega along with Team SEE. Sarah currently works in outpatient orthopedic surgery and resides in Chicago with her pup, Annie.
