Hello everyone, I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and I currently working as an ER nurse. I grew up in Huế and I have always wanted to give back to my community. Working in healthcare field has strengthened my passion for helping people during difficult times and caring for patients with compassion. I want to join the Team Cleft Repair of Operation International mission because I would like to help the children and families in Huế who may have lack of access to needed surgical care. I believe cleft repair surgery can make a great impact to improve a person’s health, confidence, and quality of life. This mission would allow me to use my nursing skills to support my community, work alongside other healthcare professionals, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
