Zach Coffey is a registered nurse from London, Kentucky, with more than 15 years of healthcare experience spanning long-term care, critical care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, perioperative services, outpatient anesthesia, and healthcare operations. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Services Administration with a minor in Clinical Informatics from Eastern Kentucky University, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Spalding University. He later earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Healthcare Executive Leadership from Northern Kentucky University. Throughout his career, Zach has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including bedside nursing, nursing management, healthcare administration, and operational leadership. His diverse background has provided him with extensive experience caring for patients across multiple settings while leading teams and improving healthcare services. In addition to his healthcare career, Zach is an entrepreneur and business owner. He was a co-founder of an outpatient anesthesia staffing company and has also founded and operated a successful dog daycare and boarding business. Outside of healthcare, he enjoys raising registered Kiko goats on his hobby farm. As a volunteer nurse with Operation International, Zach is grateful for the opportunity to combine his passion for service, healthcare, and global outreach by providing care to underserved communities around the world. Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Zach enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, caring for his three dogs and two cats, hobby farming, gardening, and interior design.
