Team Hearts will head on their inaugural mission in April 2026 to Kenya. They will provide life-saving cardiac surgery to patients who otherwise would not have access to this essential care.
Team Hearts is honored to share their skills and expertise working alongside their Kenyan colleagues to make a lasting impact-one heartbeat at at time. The team consists of an exceptional team of healthcare professions-including cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologist, physician assistants, perfusionists, and registered nurses and is led by Christine Rullo, PA and Dr. Amjad Syed, who joined Operation International in 2025.
