Team Cleft Repair successfully completed their fourth mission in Vietnam, operating on 45 patients. These 45 patients received 67 surgeries and more than 150 dental procedures. Team Cleft Repair also oversaw more than 100 BLS certifications for local health care staff and made more than $15,000 worth of equipment and instrument donations to the hospital.

In addition to cleft surgical services, this year’s mission expanded to include integrated dental care and nursing education. The addition of dental services strengthens the continuum of craniofacial care, while structured nursing education will support local healthcare providers in advancing perioperative care, patient safety, and long-term treatment outcomes. Together, these expanded efforts reflect a growing commitment to sustainable capacity-building alongside direct patient care.
