Team Cleft Repair will return to Hue, Vietnam in August to continue their ongoing mission of providing comprehensive cleft lip and palate care to children and families in need. This return mission builds on prior surgical outreach efforts in the region, focusing on delivering high-quality, multidisciplinary care.
In addition to cleft surgical services, this year’s mission will expand to include integrated dental care and nursing education. The addition of dental services strengthens the continuum of craniofacial care, while structured nursing education will support local healthcare providers in advancing perioperative care, patient safety, and long-term treatment outcomes. Together, these expanded efforts reflect a growing commitment to sustainable capacity-building alongside direct patient care.
